This policy describes what Budgetfold (budgetfold.com and its apps), operated by 9GG LLC, actually collects. It is written to match the code.
To run the service, sync a shared budget, send transactional email (confirmation, password reset, invitations, billing), answer support, prevent abuse, and see which pages bring people in. We do not sell personal data and show no ads.
When you use Categorise for me or Review this month, payee names, amounts and category names are sent to a model provider (Groq) to produce the answer. Your email and account details are not included. Providers process requests and do not train on them under our terms.
Cards go directly to Stripe. Transactional email is sent through Resend. Marketing email only goes to addresses that asked on a form, with an unsubscribe link every time.
Your data stays until you delete it or your account; backups age out within 35 days. Support messages two years, logs 30 days.
People on your shared budget see the budget. Otherwise data reaches only the processors named here (Stripe, Resend, Groq, hosting at Contabo and Cloudflare) or the law. Servers are in the EU and US; EU/UK transfers rely on standard contractual clauses.
Access, correct, export (Settings → Download everything) and delete from inside the app or by email. GDPR and CCPA/CPRA rights apply where you live, including the right to complain to your regulator. We do not sell or share personal information as the CCPA defines those terms.
