Delete your account

You can delete your Budgetfold account yourself at any time. Nothing is held back and there is no waiting period. If you want your data first, use Export in Settings; it produces a zip of CSVs on every plan.

From inside the app or website

Sign in and open Settings.
Choose Delete account.
Enter your password and confirm.

By email

Write to support+budgetfold@9gg.app from the address on the account. We confirm the request and delete within 7 days.

What is deleted

Your account: email, name, password hash, sign-up details, plan status.
If you were the only member of the budget: the budget itself with its accounts, transactions, categories, scheduled items, subscriptions and month history.
If other people share the budget, it stays with them; your membership is removed.
Any paid plan is cancelled at once. Stripe keeps invoice records as required by law.

What is kept, and for how long

Encrypted database backups age out within 35 days. Support emails and server logs are kept as described in the privacy policy.
