Budgetfold is a zero-based budget: your pay is shared out between rent, groceries, rego and savings before you spend it, and whatever is left in a category rolls into next month. Set the currency to Australian dollars and every amount shows as A$. It is on Google Play in Australia and works in any browser.
Free plan: this month's budget, 2 accounts and 100 transactions. On the web Plus is $39 (US dollars) a year; in the Android app Google Play charges in your local currency.

Pick Australian dollars in Settings. Budgetfold has no bank connection. You type a purchase in a few seconds, or download a CSV, OFX or QFX statement from your online banking and import it. Day-first dates such as 25/10/2026 are read correctly. Yearly costs such as rego, insurance or school fees become sinking funds that fill each month.
Pocketbook closed on 5 August 2022. If you still have a CSV of your transactions, or your bank's own export, Budgetfold imports it and rebuilds the accounts and categories.
