Quicken documents QIF export for Windows: one account at a time, with a date range and a choice of what to include. Budgetfold reads QIF directly, including category, memo and cleared state. Quicken's own QXF format is for moving between Quicken installs and is not readable here.
Full importer for QIF (and OFX/QFX). Steps checked on info.quicken.com ("Exporting data from Quicken", Windows), 9 September 2026. We could not confirm the Mac steps from Quicken's help pages; if your Mac version has File → Export with a QIF or CSV option, upload that file.

Your transactions land in the register with their accounts and categories. Open the current month, move Ready to assign into categories until it reads zero, and the envelopes start working from today. Press Find recurring charges on Bills & subscriptions and Budgetfold proposes your subscriptions from the history, with renewal dates and yearly cost. Everything you import can be exported again as a zip of CSVs at any time, on every plan.
